Support Finance

The Support Finance platform brought onboarding and client management into one system. Digital onboarding ran through a standardized intake covering applicant details and the documents each application requires.

Client records were held centrally, so the file a reviewer opened was the same file the front office had built.

Applications moved through configurable approval steps. Each stage had a defined owner and a defined next action, and the path from application to decision was the same for every file.

Because those steps were set in configuration rather than fixed by the software, the sequence could be matched to the reviewers responsible for each stage.

Role-based access control governed who could view client data, who could edit it, and who could approve. Permissions followed the role rather than the individual, so staff and responsibility changes did not require the access model to be rebuilt.

The same controls applied to documents, so financial records were available to the roles that needed them rather than to everyone with a login.

Real-time dashboards and notifications gave the team a live view of where each application sat, with status read directly from the system.

Finance Orion was built for Support Finance as its first implementation. The work described here is that implementation.

The same pattern applies to any lender or intermediary whose intake, documents, and approvals are currently spread across email, spreadsheets, and a filing cabinet.
